The Neighborhood Service Exchange (NSE) is a service credit program that links neighbors-to-neighbors for volunteer help with tasks and errands. Participants may provide services, receive services or both! For each hour of service donated by members, an hour of service credit is earned. That credit may be used at a later time to receive a service or can be donated back to the program for others in need. A computer database is used to track services and credits. All services have equal value. Services provided by members are matched to other member's individual needs. Members are encouraged to utilize their individual talents, interests, and creativity as members of the NSE. The NSE is focused on the Everett and South Salt Creek neighborhoods.

The program is staffed by a Program Coordinator, Pat Anderson-Sifuentez who reaches out to potential members, builds the membership and coordinates exchanges. We are located at 1036 E Street in Lincoln, Nebraska  68508.
