Symptoms

You, or someone among your friends or relatives, may have diabetes and not know it. Symptoms may include any, some, or all of the following:

  • Being very thirsty, hungry, or tired
  • Needing to empty your bladder frequently
  • Losing weight without trying
  • Having frequent infections or sores that heal slowly
  • Having dry, itchy skin
  • Losing the feeling (numbness) in your feet
  • Having a tingling feeling, especially in your feet
  • Having blurry eyesight
